Creator & Branding Queen

Born and raised in Taiwan, CLARE has lived and worked in New York City, Taipei & China and is now based in Shanghai, where she contributes more than 18 years international branding and integrated marketing experience to both local and international clients.After started her advertising career in LLT ad agency in NYC in 1993 (key clients including MCI, Citibank, New York Life…etc.) Clare has decided to return to her motherland in 1996, joined Ogilvy Advertising Taipei. Seeking continues growth in her career development, she moved to client-side brand/marketing. She was head of Brand marketing communication for Tower Records, Hachette Filipacchi, TVBS, and California Fitness center in Taiwan.
In 2003, she moved to China and found the 4 IN GROUP- brand consulting, to response the strong desire of creative branding and lifestyle marketing in China.
CLARE specializes in creative branding and integrated marketing/PR programs, assisting multinational companies with their entry into Asia as well as assisting local brands with market launches. 4 IN Group has a specific focus in providing strategic brand total solutions to the lifestyle, F&B, entertainment and culture & arts industries. Clare has been acclaimed by major media in Taiwan, China & overseas as one of the leading creative brand marketing specialists in Asia. She is also a frequent speaker at Branding/ PR conference in China.
She holds a MA in Marketing Communication from Boston University, USA, BA in Commercial Design from ChungYuan University, Taiwan. She has published three Best Seller Books and has also been a contributor to ³The Economist: Business China² on Branding in China as well as writing lifestyle columns for magazines in China, such as Target, Re-Luxe and Food & Wine Magazine, and Shanghai correspondent for L¹Officiel India. Team Leader and Brand & Design Expert

Federico is born in Colombia (Bogota) in 1962.
His father was a remarkable Columbian architect and his mother was Art Director at Desgrippe in Paris.From his French side his environment was mainly artistic with his grand father Hervé Baille painter of the French Navy and hisa great-grandfather Henri-Paul Nenot awarded by the Academy of Architecture of the ‘Grand Prix de Rome’.
Federico has shared his life between Columbia, Spain and France and has always been attracted by different cultures and their diversity in expressing various forms of art.
At the age of 16 years old, he begins painting, less than 3 years later he will exhibit his first work in Rodez in 1981.He will study Logic & Philosophy at Paris La Sorbonne University but still continue painting and designing. In 1987, as a student, he will participate
to the International Lighting Fair to present his first lighting creations. He will be awarded with the ‘Lampe d’or’ (‘Golden Light’) by Philippe Starck.
This first recognition from one of the most famous designer in the world will convince Federico that design will be his own road in life.
Federico begins his career with collaborating with Joel Desgrippes.
With a wealth of this first experience behind him, he will be one of the founders and CEO of the international company ‘Raison Pure’ in 1988.
In 1994, Federico opens his own company the ‘Atelier Federico Restrepo’.
Atelier means workrooms because the atmosphere of working together with his team, sharing know-how, creativity, artistic design, philosophy and
logic has always been his own eclectic philosophy of working.
Design as a process is not a solitary activity; it is the exchange that makes it into such a mutually enriching experience.For more than 20 years now, as Designer and Art Director, Federico has been working for the top league brands.
More than being considered as an expert in Beauty domain Federico is also very much demanded as Corporate Brand Consultant by Luxury brands of different sectors of activities (Champagne and Spirits, Fashion and Leather Accessories, Watches and Jewelry brands…).

Beside his professional domain of expertise, Federico never stopped expressing his multicultural sensitivity and creativity through other ways of creation such as designing, painting, writing, photography….
These last few years, Federico diversified his creativity with editing different books. One book of philosophy based on his life experience has as a
title « Le livre des illusions, petits sentiers pour une meditation terrestre ». The book of the ‘le Livre d’Heures’ is an Ode about his different sources
of inspiration. Poetry has always been one of the passions of Federico and he currently writes poems.
Federico as multi-talented designer created different lines of objects such as luxury watches for connoisseurs, men jewelry collection, pens, but
also interior decoration items such as crystal vases and carafe, lamps…
Photography is also one of Federico’s hobbies as a way of immortalizing his work, but also the beauty of a woman, of a flower, of a landscape but
above all of a moment of life.

Whitney has been deeply involved in creating and managing effective and award winning marketing, branding, advertising, direct marketing, sales promotion, collateral, identity, corporate communications, investor relations and interactive campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and others. Whitney’s value proposition is to maximize clients’ ROI and market value through a three-fold combination of strategic planning expertise, brand marketing skills, and management consulting capabilities.
Prior to starting his current consulting practice, he was consulting general manager and creative director of Chevron’s marketing communication services unit at corporate headquarters in San Francisco. As a result of providing strategic marketing and management consulting services to internal clients and strategic partners worldwide, the unit’s staff doubled, revenues tripled, profits quadrupled and awareness increased exponentially. He has since consulted for Advanced Technology Staffing, Auspex, Check Point Software Technologies, Charles Schwab & Co., Consolidated Freightways, IBM, Kaiser Pernamente, Mediaplex, Neopost, Safeway, SEMI, SF Interactive, Shell, SportPharma, State Fund, State Street Global Advisers, 3Com, VISA and various start ups.
In New York City, Whitney worked with a number of multinational advertising agencies such as Ammirati Puris Lintas, Jordan McGrath and Ogilvy & Mather. He provided integrated marketing communications, consulting and creative services to IBM in North America, Europe and Latin America, as well as American Express, @Home, Compaq, Farsight.com, Jaguar, J&J, Juno.com, Kraft, Lufthansa, NYNEX, Ryder, Seagrams and TCI.
Before starting his consulting practice, he was president and creative director of Vosburgh International where he worked with consumer and business-to-business clients around the world. These clients included AIG, American Express, AT&T, Apple, Avis, British Telecom, Citibank, Ernst & Young, General Motors, Kraft, Lever, IBM, Reader’s Digest, Shell and United Nations.
Prior to forming his own agency, Whitney was creative supervisor at Grey Direct and was responsible for strategy, brand character, concept and execution of both television and print advertising, direct mail, collateral and sales promotion. His group worked on Bristol-Myers, General Foods, IBM, J&J, Merck, NYNEX, Pepsi and Procter & Gamble. In addition to Whitney’s full time positions at DDB and Grey, he has consulted for BBDO, Chiat/Day, DIMAC, Frankel, Interbrand, Harte-Hanks and Ketchum.
On the corporate side, he has worked directly for Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and American Express. He was a special consultant to Merrill Lynch in North America and Europe on their sponsorship promotions for the 1992 Olympics and corporate identity program.
Whitney graduated with a BFA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design in New York City. He also studied at U.C. Berkeley, St. Martin’s School of Art in London, International Center of Photography in Paris, the Hanna-Barbera School of Animation in Hollywood and the School of Visual Arts in New York. Believe it or not, he actually studied accounting before making the switch to communications.
He is a member of the board of Roti Systems Inc. and was recently interviewed by the magazine Brand Marketing on Internet brand research. Whitney is featured in two new books: “A New Brand of Expertise: How Independent Consultants Are Transforming the World of Work” by Marion McGovern, founder of M Squared Inc., and in “Free Agent Nation” by Dan Pink, a featured writer for Fast Company. He has a lifetime of international experience – he has worked, lived and studied in Europe, Asia and North America. Alessandro Copetti is the founder of Copetti Design Limited, a Shanghai based interior design firm dedicated to using innovative materials and new technologies in design applications. A graduate in architecture from IUAV in Venice and the Copenhagen School of Architecture, Copetti founded his first studio in 1992, which lead him to collaborations with major architecture and engineering firms across Europe. In 1995, he created his most famous creation, “U-vola speakers – the flying egg”, a unique high-quality suspension loudspeaker which has won international recognition and several major awards.
Alessandro moved to China in 2009. Since moving here, he has been involved with projects with Mr. Dada, Ningbo Four Season, and MADESIGN, and has become a co-founder and member of the Thinking Pinocchio team, together with architects Carlo Anzillotti and Simon Ma. He also serves on the board of 4in Group, a Shanghai-based marketing communications firm.
